Angelica Patient Assistance Program seeks to improve the lives of economically disadvantaged patients and residents in need of long-term medical care and to support long-term medical care facilities in New York City. Their primary focus is on recreational, cultural and social programs that engage and stimulate these patients and residents. They look for ways to empower them to take more control over their lives, in an effort to realize a greater sense of independence, choice and purpose within their respective communities.
Cornerstone Family Programs / Morristown Neighborhood House (formerly Family Service of Morris County) strengthens communities by helping people build better lives through programs that help individuals, families and new immigrants who are confronting economic and other life challenges. Pre-school, after school, summer camp, recreation, tutoring and parenting education programs give children the best start in life and help youth reach their full potential. Recreation, work force development, language and skill-building programs build resilience in families. Adult day care centers and education programs help older adults remain independent in their homes.
Student/Partner Alliance helps economically disadvantaged but determined young people from New Jersey's inner cities obtain private high school educations through a combination of financial support and personal mentoring. Upon graduation, students enroll in four year colleges enabling them to participate productively and successfully in American society.
